Jeffrey Hood, Founder, CEO and Director of Theia Analytics Group, is a seasoned entrepreneur and investment professional with over 25 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industries. Driven by a passion for innovation, Jeff founded Theia to bridge the gap between data and decision-making, delivering actionable insights and intelligence through the company’s proprietary AI-powered software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform.

Before founding Theia, Jeff honed his expertise during a 25-year career managing equity trading desks covering the largest hedge funds, mutual funds and pension funds in the world at leading research and investment banking firms, including Fox-Pitt-Kelton, Dillon Reed, DLJ, and CJ Lawrence. In these roles, he specialized in financial analysis, market research, and investment strategy. His strategic acumen extended to his work as an advisor to Direct General Corporation, where he guided the company’s growth and expansion into new markets.

Jeff’s focus on Wall Street technology and innovation led him to the SaaS sector, where he served as an investor and advisor to Salary.com. This unique blend of financial services and tech experience positions Jeff as a visionary leader, dedicated to empowering businesses with cutting-edge governance and regulatory risk solutions.

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Moravian University.
