Mark Hale

Mark Hale is a proven technology and operations leader with a career defined by scaling data-driven platforms and transforming global enterprise systems. As former Chief Executive Officer of Visible Alpha, he guided the company through a pivotal growth phase—expanding its footprint across the financial data ecosystem and strengthening its position as a leading provider of investment intelligence.

Prior to Visible Alpha, Mark spent more than two decades at FactSet, where he advanced from software engineer to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In that role, he led FactSet’s global technology, content operations, and enterprise infrastructure—driving modernization initiatives that powered the firm’s evolution into a multi-billion-dollar information services leader.

Mark brings to THEIA deep expertise in scaling data and software businesses, integrating advanced technology into commercial strategy, and building organizations that thrive through change. He holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
