Sanford A. Cockrell
Sanford A. Cockrell is a seasoned executive with nearly four decades of leadership experience at Deloitte, where he served in a range of senior roles, including as National Managing Partner of the U.S. CFO Program and ultimately as Global Leader of Deloitte’s CXO and CFO Programs. Throughout his career, he worked closely with Fortune 500 executives to support leadership transitions and develop strategic advisory relationships across the C-suite. His expertise spans M&A advisory, tax strategy, and large-scale client relationship management, particularly within the alternative asset management space. Sanford also served as Vice-Chairman of the Deloitte US Board of Directors and a member of the Deloitte Global Board of Directors.
Sanford earned his B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he remains a proud alumnus and active supporter. He now serves as Board Member and Audit Committee Chair at XCF Global, and brings to THEIA’s advisory board a deep understanding of C-suite dynamics, corporate governance, and financial oversight, helping shape the company’s strategy and engagement with senior business leaders navigating regulatory complexity.
